The FCHV series high-capacity floor fan coils are designed for efficient room heating and cooling, ensuring comfort even in low energy efficiency buildings. Due to their high heating and cooling capacity, these units can be used as primary heating – cooling devices.
These fan coils can supply fresh air from the ventilation system to the room. The ventilation ducts are connected to the side of the unit casing on the room side. Fresh air is directed bypassing the heating–cooling coil and supplied in a wide airflow towards the window.
The units feature very low noise levels, making them suitable for spaces with strict acoustic requirements, such as residential areas, hotel rooms, and offices. Integrated condensate drain trays allow the units to operate reliably below the dew point, ensuring stable cooling performance.
The FCHV series is available with 2-pipe or 4-pipe connections. The 4-pipe system provides maximum flexibility for heating and cooling, allowing both modes to be controlled independently, while the 2-pipe system is designed for maximum instantaneous capacity.
The units operate efficiently with low-temperature heat sources, such as heat pumps and condensing boilers, making them well suited for modern, energy-efficient heating systems. Their low thermal inertia allows heating or cooling to be delivered only when needed, significantly reducing energy consumption and preventing overheating of the space.
EC fans ensure quiet operation and maximum efficiency, achieving up to 4 times greater convection efficiency compared to natural convection solutions. This allows for quick and even distribution of heat or cool throughout the room volume.
FCHV units are equipped with sturdy stainless steel casings, designed for pedestrian loads and capable of supporting the weight of several adults. Double-sided aesthetic grilles made of aluminum or oak wood allow the solution to be easily matched to the floor covering and interior concept, maintaining minimal visual impact on the space.
