Fan coils for water heating and cooling
October 7, 2026
A fan coil is a unit for heating and cooling rooms that runs on water from a boiler, heat pump or chiller. Since 2005 Konveka has been designing and manufacturing fan coils for commercial and residential projects: ducted, cassette, wall-mounted and recessed floor models with EC motors and stainless steel casings.
Konveka fan coil types
- Ducted fan coils DF – concealed installation above a suspended ceiling with connected ductwork.
- Cassette fan coils CF – ceiling installation and even air distribution.
- Wall-mounted fan coils HWF – exposed wall installation, fast heating and cooling.
- Recessed floor fan coils FCH and FCHV – built into the floor next to floor-to-ceiling glazing.
2-pipe and 4-pipe fan coils
2-pipe fan coils heat or cool alternately, 4-pipe fan coils can do both at the same time. Konveka selects the configuration for each project.
Fan coil, chiller and heat pump
In a chiller and fan coil system, chilled water is supplied to the fan coils, and in winter the same circuit runs on a boiler or heat pump – an energy-efficient solution for large buildings.
