Vilnius Airport

The project

Vilnius Airport is one of the busiest passenger hubs in Lithuania. Its common areas need even heat that does not get in passengers’ way or take up space.

The challenge

In large spaces, cold air sinks along the glazing, so the heating has to be powerful and respond quickly. The equipment must also withstand heavy foot traffic.

The Konveka solution

Konveka FH4-H trench heaters with fans were installed. EC fans deliver high output (up to 2380 W/m) and a fast response to temperature changes, and the units are designed for low-temperature systems. The stainless steel housings are reinforced for foot traffic.

The result

The heating is hidden in the floor, the spaces stay open, and heat is delivered exactly where it is needed.
